Back Home

Tour was awesome! Had a chance to meet alot of great people and see some really beautiful parts of Canada. Have to say too that coming home to my own town for the final show was amazing!! The fans, family and friends were the best homecoming party that I've ever experienced..thanks again to all for supporting the tour!
Once again I will promise pictures in short order and fail at delivering them in a timely manner, but y'all know that I will post them...eventually.
June has us playing every weekend so we'll be seeing some of you sooner than later, which is always good!
Hope your Memorial Weekend is a good one...

4 show's to go

This has been an amazing trip! Since my last post I did manage a first as a pro musician.....I fell on stage! And it was not graceful, it was a full on fall that had me flat on my back! I did recover with a triumphent, super star, Spinal Tap, both hands raised in the air in victory pose, that brought much praise from the crowd. Always happy when my humility brings joy to the masses :-) !!!!
Had a great night off in Edmonton. The boy's from Tupelo Honey (who are from there) hosted a bbq, Alberta beef is totally delicous. Then we had a tri-band bowling tourney that had yours truely winning the second game. We won't talk about the first one.
After a sweaty rock show in Calgary, we had the self-proclaimed Paris Hilton of Canada host a private party for the band and friends at a great Italian restaurant (whose name I can't remeber but will post later). The owner opened up some amazing wines and served up great penne, scallops, and mussells. The night also saw Davey, Art and D-Rock donning the offical chef's clothing. Pic's of this moment are definately forth coming.
I can't say enough about the Canadian crowds. They are totally fantastic! From the crazines of the oil town's audiences, to the stunning beauty of Banff in the Canadian Rockies, this is truely a tour to remeber.

See ya on the State side...

Wicked Eh....

Howdy from Saskatoon. Five shows in and all is well! It's really been great to be up north again. Did'nt know what to expect from Mom Nature up here, but it's been beautiful! Had a great drive yesterday through the North Woods that was particularly stunning.
My adventures in eating have been limited, but Brett and I did try a dish called poutine (fries, gravy and cheese curd)...interesting to be sure. Have yet to sample the ketchup flavored potato chips.
These Canadian crowds are chalk full of rockers! Many of these shows are sell-outs and a packed house is always a good time. The opening acts are excellent too. Marianas Trench is a pop rock outfit that has totally amazing vocals, they can all sing for days. Tupelo Honey is a heavier band with a great groove.
I'm off to sound check...totally wicked eh?
