Boston Arrival

Down to just four show's (not counting The Tonight Show spot on the 27th recently added to the end of the run!).
Did'nt get bowling in on the night off in NC, but Davey, D-Rok and myself did find awsome rib's at a place whose name is eluding me at the moment. I love good bbq! After that we found a local dive called the Back Door where we got our darts and pool games on. I have to admit I was ruling at pool until I embibed in too many dollar beers! Those kind of specials are a blessing and a curse.
Made our way to Allentown PA, which is a town this band this band has never played. We whipped it up for a packed club called the Crocodile Rock.
Last night was good times in the always exciting NY City. Played at BB Kings right in the heart of Time's Square. Quick shout out to our touring mates in Johnny Lives for their spot on Conan last night, good work and you deserve it.
Sold out show in Boston tonight at the Paradise, totally anticipating a good time. Anyone remeber the Drew Bledsoe story? Before my time, but always a hot topic when in Bean Town...

Day Off in NC

Ahhh yes....the sweet smell of clean laundry and the anticipation of a night of bowling and a cold pitcher! It's truely the simple things in life that keep us moving forward.
Have'nt posted recently (sorry), I'll get better at it ...promise. As tour winds down I'll get new pictures for the photo gallery, so keep checkin'.

Alright...New Orleans was a blast. I had a kick ass soft shell crab po' boy with chargrilled oysters that I'm still dreaming of. So good that our sound man D-Rok had to help himself to the unfinished left overs on the table next to us...EPIC. I have a passion for finding the good local flavor as we cruise the country. This was @ Acme and I highly recomend it if your in NO.
Work play theater in Birmingham was a unique room, reminded me of Thunderdome.
Onto Atlanta to play a sweaty little rock club called the loft..love the rooms where you guys are right there! Also found excellent Thai food @ Owan with Art and D-Rok. D did refrain from foraging off strangers plates this time!
The shows have been so great!!! You guy's are making this my favorite tour I've been on in some time. The energy has been great. Also I've got to give a nod to the Ladies of the south....BEAUTIFUL!!!
We Wrapped up our shows in the south and are heading towards the north east for the final stretch. It was nice being in Florida for a couple days, got some beach time in Ft. Lauderdale. So now I'll pull out the heavy coat and hang on to the feeling of sun on my skin. Can't wait to hit NY city and Boston...two of my favorite places!
Ciao for now...

Mid point of the tour

Wow ! This tour is flyin' by! I think it's because of the number of shows we've packed into this run. I have to say we are havin' a blast. Last night Chicago was off the hook! In spite of the continued freezing weather (I'm just a North West softy), you people came to rock! Always good times for me in Chicago, and always fun sayin' hi to the familiar faces.
I'm sittin' on the bus right now enroute to Cleveland to play another House of Blue's Gig, which, by the way are great venues, then we'll be aiming the bus for the south. We start out in New Orleans, which I have not yet played with this band, or ever been to. We've got the first night off...any suggestions about what to do in NO on a monday night?

C..C...COLD!!! in MN

Yes it's a balmy eight degrees in Minneapolis. Here for the big rock show @ the Fine Line Music Club. We're in a stretch of the tour that has traveling alot, the old show-n-go. Last night was a rockin' crowd in Denver, the night before was Salt Lake...which was fun too!
The crowds have been great and the enthusiasm at the gigs is really exciting for the band, it keeps us rockin'!!!!

Just chilled out with the boys watchin' Super Bowl in Salt Lake. We're enyoing a couple of well earned days off... nine shows in ten days!
Our show in Portland a few days ago was quite an event. We tore it up in front of a sold out home town crowd!
Last night was Boise, and again we had a great time, except for the one guy givin' me the finger all night, but it just goes to show that ya can't please every one, but it's a helluva good time when you please most!

So far so good

First week of tour has been great! We started in Aspen CO for the X games where we played to about four thousand people in six degree weather (good times). The next morning we caught a first flight out to LA for the official start of the tour and were greeted by temps in the seventies...YES!
We're starting to get into the flow of being on the road, smoothing out the rough spots and stuff. Tonight we're in Spokane WA which is where I graduated High School, and then jumped into life as a musician!
